Journal History

Journal of Informatics Engineering Research and Innovation was first published in 2026 by Klik Riset as part of its commitment to supporting scientific publication in the field of Informatics Engineering and Computer Science. The establishment of this journal was driven by the need for a credible and accessible publication platform for lecturers, researchers, students, and practitioners in information technology, particularly for disseminating the latest research findings and innovations.

Since its inception, JRITI has been managed electronically using the Open Journal System (OJS) through ejournal.klikriset.com, ensuring that the manuscript management process from submission and review to publication runs transparently, efficiently, and remains openly accessible to the wider community.

In its early issues, JRITI focused on foundational topics in software engineering and information systems. Over time, the journal's scope has continued to expand in line with technological developments, encompassing emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, and the Internet of Things (IoT), in order to address the increasingly complex research needs of the digital transformation era.

Moving forward, JRITI is committed to continuously improving its editorial management, expanding its network of peer reviewers, and pursuing recognition and accreditation from relevant institutions to strengthen its contribution to the advancement of knowledge in informatics, both at the national and international levels.
